Prof Dr Schneider:

  • Reference production system for a medium-sized company: Development of a concept of design principles and a methodological toolkit for the introduction of lean. (Sponsored by Schaltbau GmbH)
  • Referencesystem for lean controlling: Development of a lean-compatible cost accounting and controlling system. (Sponsored by ebm-papst GmbH & Co. KG)
  • Referencemodel Industry 4.0 and Lean: The objective is the scientific research and conceptualisation of an approach for the customer-oriented implementation of Industry 4.0 technologies in the production of a research partner from industry. (Funded by ebm-papst GmbH & Co. KG.)
  • Concept development for maintaining the "digital twin" with augmented reality: As part of a preliminary study, it is being investigated how augmented reality can be used with the help of Microsoft Hololens to efficiently check the conformity of the virtual factory image with the real factory.
  • Creation of a workshop concept "Grenzregion 4.0 - gemeinsam.digital.gestalten": A workshop concept for communicating Industry 4.0 content to SMEs is being created for the Lower Bavaria Chamber of Industry and Commerce based on structured interviews to ascertain requirements.
