Landshut University of Applied Sciences sees itself as a centre of excellence for interdisciplinary and lifelong learning. Teaching should primarily enable students to acquire subject-specific skills, but also social, reflective, entrepreneurial, digital, creative, intercultural and foreign language skills.

Interdisciplinarity is promoted above all through courses in which students from different faculties work together on topics and learn from each other through their different specialist approaches.
