Commitment & further training

The STUV is a collective term for the elected student representatives in the Senate, the student councils and the Student Convention. These representatives represent your interests in the respective committees, actively shape university policy and organise events at the university. The elected representatives are your first point of contact if you have any problems or questions about your studies. You can contact them personally in the office or by email at any time.

Here you will find an overview of various student organisations at the university. Involvement in one of these clubs is a good idea when looking for an internship or a job. :-)

In addition to acquiring original subject-specific knowledge, it is extremely important for students to acquire further skills in a complex, constantly changing world of life and work, while at the same time developing their own personality. This option is made possible by the competence-orientated courses within the General Studies programme at our university.

The university offers all students a comprehensive language programme.

We offer qualified language courses at various levels, which will prepare you for studying or doing an internship abroad and, above all, increase your chances on the national and international labour market with a UNIcert® certificate.

Mobility

You can easily reach everything from the university by public transport. The bus stop "Hochschule" towards the city centre is located directly in front of the A-building.

The student ID card is also valid as a semester ticket for local public transport in the city and municipality of Landshut - together with a valid photo ID (e.g. identity card or passport). The ticket can be used on all bus lines in the Landshut transport network, except the airport line.

The various car parks at the university are marked on the campus map .

There are various parking spaces for bicycles and a bicycle repair station. These can be viewed here .

digital places

To keep up to date with your studies, it is important to always keep an eye on your university e-mail inbox. That way you won't miss anything. It is also possible to set up forwarding to your regular e-mail address.

The SSO portal is important for organising your studies, whether it's the lecture timetable, re-registration or exam registration.
