Declaration on digital accessibility (according to the model of (EU) 2018/1523)

Landshut University of Applied Sciences attaches great importance to the barrier-free usability of its services for all citizens and users. As a public body within the meaning of Directive (EU) 2016/2102, we endeavour to make our websites and mobile applications accessible in accordance with the provisions of the Disability Equality Act (BGG) and the Barrier-free Information Technology Ordinance (BITV 2.0) for the implementation of Directive (EU) 2016/2102.

The legal basis for the barrier-free design is the Bavarian Disability Equality Act (BayBGG) in conjunction with the Accessible Information Technology Ordinance (BITV 2 .0).

Creation of this accessibility statement

This declaration was created on 11.03.2024. The last review of the website took place on 13/02/2024.

This website was subjected to a self-test as part of the website relaunch at the beginning of 2024. The test was carried out according to the BITV test method. All digital accessibility criteria according to BITV/WCAG were tested in 98 steps. Any necessary changes were made to the website.

Conciliation procedure

If no satisfactory solution is found even after your feedback to the above-mentioned contact, you can contact the arbitration centre in accordance with Section 16 of the Disability Equality Act (BGG). The Arbitration Centre BGG has the task of supporting an out-of-court settlement of disputes between people with disabilities and federal public bodies on the subject of accessibility. The arbitration procedure is free of charge. No legal assistance is required.
