Music and culture

In addition to academic education, life at the university also includes social and cultural exchange. Various groups have therefore formed on campus to pursue their hobbies and passions together. On this page you will find the music and drama programme at Landshut University of Applied Sciences.

We...

  • are a friendly group of brass players who want to add a touch of festivity to HAW Landshut's festivities;
  • We play across the centuries, from baroque to classical and romantic to world music. (Only we don't do Humpta, others do that);
  • know that music only sounds good if you get on well with each other.

Meeting point: fortnightly between 6 and 8 pm in J2 01.

Cultural engagement makes it possible to actively shape the university environment. Topics from society, science and research can be communicated and discussed independently of the degree programme.
Cultural work promotes personal development, team spirit, organisational skills and creativity. Intercultural skills are also promoted through cooperation with students from all over the world and through partnership programmes.
