Prospects after graduation

Digitalisation and climate change are fuelling demand for well-trained specialists in electrical engineering and information technology. The career prospects in many large and medium-sized high-tech companies are therefore excellent, both now and in the long term. With a successful Bachelor's degree, you have an attractive and free choice of jobs.

The fields of application in the constantly changing technical environment are diverse: from development, research, project planning,
production automation to technical sales, service or assessment.

After graduating, you will be excellently qualified to work independently
in a high-tech company.

Possible Master's degree programmes

After completing a degree in Electrical Engineering and Information Technology, you can also deepen, expand and specialise your knowledge in a Master's degree course. For this purpose, we offer the Master's in Electrical Engineering, for which you are directly qualified.

Alternative Master's programmes are Sustainability and Transformation, Wiring Systems Development and Applied Research in Engineering Sciences (the latter with conditions).

After successfully completing the Master's programme, you also have the opportunity to do a doctorate.
