Hochschule Landshut's Landshut Start-Up Night serves as a meeting point for the regional startup scene. On November 9th, starting at 6:00 PM in the Audimax auditorium of Hochschule Landshut, politics, business, academia, students, and startups will come together to network, get to know the future entrepreneurs, and witness the presentation of the Landshut Start-Up Prize.
This year as well, Hochschule Landshut supports and honors especially innovative and forward-thinking startup projects with the presentation of the prize. The three winners selected by the jury's overall evaluation will receive the Start-Up Prize and an attractive cash award. The distinguished jury consists of professors, student startup ambassadors, and staff from Hochschule Landshut, as well as external professionals from the startup scene.
The protagonists of the evening, the five pitch teams, must first prove themselves in a showdown before the critical jury and the eager audience. This main part of the event is accompanied by an exciting keynote and a panel discussion. Guests on the stage include Dr. Thomas Haslinger, the Deputy Mayor of the City of Landshut, Peter Dreier, District Administrator of the Landshut District, Prof. Dr. Martin Prasch, the scientific director of the startup center, and Kristina Notz, the Executive Director of the Social Entrepreneurship Academy.
To fully embrace the competitive nature of the event, the well-known Landshut sports commentator Marcel Meinert, recognized for his live football commentary on the pay-TV channel Sky, will once again host the evening. All those interested in entrepreneurship are invited to join the live event and actively network.
