"Die Zeit" published the current results of the CHE ranking at the beginning of May. Landshut University of Applied Sciences once again made it into the absolute top group of German and Bavarian universities.

Business Informatics also took the lead in the ranking with a score of 1.55 in the "Overall study situation", "Teacher support", "Courses offered" and "Job market preparation" categories. Support for all students

University President Prof. Dr Fritz Pörnbacher spoke of a great result, which he attributes above all to the commitment of the lecturers at the Landshut University of Applied Sciences: "We attach great importance to providing our students with intensive support. This has become even more so especially during corona. We are excellently positioned digitally and are therefore in a position to provide all students with the greatest possible online support during the current digital semester."

The Centre for Higher Education Development surveyed around 120,000 students for the CHE ranking. More than 300 universities and universities of applied sciences (HAWs) as well as dual universities and universities of cooperative education were examined. The CHE university ranking is therefore the most comprehensive and detailed university comparison in the German-speaking world. In addition to facts about studies, examinations, teaching and research, the ranking also includes assessments by students about the study conditions and support in various areas at their university. This includes, for example, job market preparation, scientific or practical relevance, rooms, library facilities and IT infrastructure.
