Start-up assistance for start-ups

The eighth Landshut "Start-up Night" takes place at Landshut University of Applied Sciences on 20 November

How do I establish a company? What makes a start-up successful? And where can new business founders find competent support? The Landshut Start-up Night (Gründernacht) on 20 November is all about starting new businesses. As a highlight, visitors can expect a keynote from engineers Martin Šoltés and Sascha Koberstaedt, founders of the start-up EVUM Motors.

The doctoral candidates at TU Munich have designed an affordable electric car which will boost mobility for people living in rural parts of Africa. Rural transport plays a key role when it comes to giving people in developing countries access to education or to medical care, for example. With the help of the "aCar", harvests can be brought to market, the sick can be taken to hospital, children to school or community representatives from remote areas can be transported to important meetings.

The founders have already presented their prototype at the Frankfurt Motor Show (IAA). Now they are bringing it to the Landshut Start-up Night and sharing valuable insights and tips on starting a business.

As well as the keynote, the Landshut start-up prize will also be awarded. In the start-up and sponsors' lounge, interested parties can find out about new start-up projects, talk with students from the Landshut Campus Company and extend their network.

Landshut University of Applied Sciences organises the Start-up Night in conjunction with the LINK start-up centre. The 2018 Landshut Start-up Night takes place on 20 November from 7 p.m. in the Audimax. Entry is free, but prior registration is required. For more information and to register online, visit
