Top marks for the Faculty of Social Work

Once again at the top of the CHE University Ranking 2023

The Faculty of Social Work at Landshut University of Applied Sciences has once again achieved remarkable results in this year's CHE university ranking and was awarded top marks. The results confirm the extraordinary satisfaction of the students with the study situation, the supervision and the practice-oriented education.

The CHE ranking, which is considered Germany's largest university ranking, is conducted by DIE ZEIT and takes a close look at study programs in economics, law and social sciences. The Center for Higher Education Development examined more than 300 universities, universities of applied sciences (HAWs) as well as dual universities and vocational academies. The CHE University Ranking is thus the most comprehensive and detailed comparison of universities in the German-speaking world.

The Faculty of Social Work received top marks in the main categories of the general study situation, study organization and support by teaching staff. The excellent ratings for practice-oriented teaching are particularly impressive.
