Instructions for using the ZDS and SV file servers at Landshut University of Applied Sciences

The central file server (ZDS) is available to all employees and students of Landshut University of Applied Sciences. This is where the "home drives" and project drives are located.
The SV is responsible for managing the file servers and offers the same functionality as the ZDS.

Please note the following when handling the file servers:

- The data is stored unencrypted

- the file servers are only to be used for official purposes

- Special category personal data such as health data, entrusted data such as student counselling data, student performance data and personnel file data should only be stored in the drive in encrypted form

- Project drives should only exist for as long as necessary. If
network drives are no longer required, please send an e-mail to helpdesk(at)haw-landshut.de.

- Access rights for project drives should be checked when the project team makes changes
