The Midwifery further qualification degree programme is a further qualification degree programme for midwives who have already qualified as midwives.
By completing the programme, midwives can also obtain a Bachelor of Science degree.
The existing professional qualification as a midwife is recognised.

Information on starting your studies
First-year students start their studies at Landshut University of Applied Sciences in the winter semester (beginning 1 October).
Events are held immediately before the start of each semester. As part of a comprehensive programme, you will receive helpful organisational and content-related information about the degree programme and the university and also get to know the staff and lecturers of your faculty as well as students on your degree programme.

The Study and Examination Plan (SPP) provides a detailed roadmap for the course of study, including the sequence of modules and examinations to be completed. A module handbook (MHH) is a document that contains detailed information on the content, objectives, examinations and other relevant aspects of a particular study module. The Study Examination Regulations (SPO) define the formal framework conditions of a degree programme, such as the required modules, examination formats and dates as well as the standard period of study. These documents are crucial to ensure a structured and transparent course of study and that students acquire the required qualifications
