De-registration upon request
De-registration on application generally takes place at the end of the semester, but can also be carried out on a desired date.
De-registration due to graduation
The final examination is only deemed to have been completed once the grade has been received by the Student Service Centre.
If the last academic achievement is a final thesis or an internship, this is only deemed to have been completed once it has been approved by the examination board or the internship supervisor.
De-registration takes place automatically at the end of the semester, but can also be carried out on a desired date upon request.
De-registration due to final failure to pass
Students must be exmatriculated ex officio if they have definitively failed an examination required by the study and examination regulations.
De-registration due to late re-registration
Students are to be exmatriculated ex officio if they have not re-registered on time.
Legal consequences
Upon exmatriculation, students lose their membership at Landshut University of Applied Sciences and thus all rights and obligations. This means that the student ID card and enrolment certificates may no longer be used from the date of de-registration.
As a result, students lose their right to participate in examinations.
