Practice-orientated training
Practical training is an integral part of our faculty. It is completed in industrial companies, technical institutions and public administration offices outside the university. This allows students to put their theoretical knowledge into practice and also gives them the opportunity to make contacts for their future career.
Practical semester
As part of your studies at HAW Landshut, you will complete a practical semester in a company of your choice. There you will work in a team on software projects to gain valuable experience, put your theoretical knowledge directly into practice and make valuable contacts in the world of work. The practical semester prepares you optimally for the labour market!

Practical semester abroad
Have you always wanted to get to know the culture of your dream country? An internship semester abroad offers the best opportunity to do so. You will also deepen the knowledge you have acquired during your studies in practice and make valuable contacts abroad. And we won't leave you alone with the preparation and planning: The International Office can advise you on all aspects of the internship semester abroad.

Internships and labs
Practice-orientated training means being able to directly apply the knowledge gained from the lectures. You have the opportunity to do this in the practicals and exercises that accompany each course. In modern, well-equipped laboratories on various areas of computer science such as artificial intelligence, robotics, autonomous driving, virtual and augmented reality and more, we support you in smaller and larger projects and share our passion for the technologies of the future with you.
