Prospects after graduation
An increasing number of companies operate internationally and maintain international value creation structures or are at least a part of them. For example, they conduct export business, maintain their own sales structures abroad, procure preliminary products internationally or operate production networks with locations in several countries.Accordingly, the demand for industrial engineers with a specifically international education who can contribute to maintaining, developing and expanding international value creation structures is increasing.
The degree programme qualifies graduates for responsible tasks in an international (industrial) context and thus opens up excellent career prospects in all sectors, hierarchical levels and functional areas. After successfully completing the programme, you can work as an employee, project manager or later as a manager in the areas of product development and manufacturing, the provision of services or international sales and customer service.
Possible Master's degree programmes
After completing the Bachelor's degree programme, students can continue to deepen their knowledge in Master's programmes. These include Master's programmes in the fields of industrial engineering, business administration and related subjects as well as technology. The Faculty of Electrical and Industrial Engineering offers Master's programmes in Industrial Engineering, Sustainability and Transformation, Applied Research in Engineering Sciences and Wiring Systems Development.
