Pre-internship

Pre-study work experience enables students to gain multi-faceted insights into various branches of industry and contributes to their academic development by deepening their practical understanding. It also strengthens the link between theoretical knowledge and real-life applications, which adds significant value to the degree programme.

Degree programmes in mechanical engineering, automotive engineering and additive manufacturing:

Pre-study work experience serves to gain an insight into the industrial production of mechanical engineering products and is therefore completed in production departments. It is intended to impart essential basic knowledge for the degree programme. Under the guidance of expert supervisors, the trainee should familiarise themselves with the materials and their processability and gain an overview of the production facilities and processes.

Civil Engineering degree programme:

The pre-study work experience serves to gain an insight into the techniques and processes in the construction industry and must therefore be completed on construction sites. It is intended to impart essential elementary knowledge for the degree programme. Under the guidance of professional supervisors, the trainee should familiarise themselves with the building materials and their workability and gain an overview of the construction site facilities and processes.
