    The study programme / profile

    The Master's degree programme offers you the opportunity to further your education in the field of lightweight construction, product and process development as well as computer-aided engineering (CAE) and to acquire the internationally recognised academic degree of Master of Engineering.

    You will acquire knowledge, skills and competences that will enable you to work as a specialist or manager for calculation, design and development, or for a doctorate. The qualifications you acquire will enable you to understand and design development and manufacturing processes in a complex environment and to develop innovative products and technologies using modern CAE methods and tools.

    Contents and course of study

    The Master's degree programme is offered as a full-time course. It comprises three semesters:

    • In the first semester, the mathematical and scientific foundations from the first degree programme are deepened.
    • Topics from applied mechanics are covered in the second semester.
    • The third semester is reserved for the Master's thesis.

    You will acquire the knowledge, skills and competences that will enable you to work as a specialist or manager for calculation, design and development, or for a doctorate.
