Criteria for the nomination
- International programme students in Bachelor's or Master's degree programmes
- from the 2nd year of study
- Main place of residence in Germany
- Particularly good academic performance
- Commitment in the social and intercultural field
Nominations are not possible for foreigners with a German university entrance qualification, graduates of German schools abroad and exchange students.
Documents and deadlines
- Current reference from a teacher with evaluation of academic performance
- At least one reference on social and intercultural commitment
- Current curriculum vitae
- Current transcript of records
Nominations, including transcripts and references, must be submitted by the nominating university professor by 18 August.
The selection is made by a committee consisting of a representative of the Presidential Board and two representatives of the International Office (criteria: grade point average, social/intercultural commitment).
