ERASMUS Information

The International Student Identity Card (ISIC) is an international student ID card that is recognised worldwide in over 100 countries as proof of student status. The International Student Identity Card entitles you to numerous discounts at home and abroad, for example at hostels, shops and museums.

Applying for the ISIC

Please send an email to outgoing@haw-landshut.de in advance so that we can prepare everything and arrange a collection date. The card is valid for one year from the month of issue. Only a virtual card (not a plastic card) can be issued.

You must bring the following with you to the appointment

  • Completed application form
  • Valid student ID card or certificate of enrolment
  • Identity card, passport or driving licence
  • Passport photo (approx. 3.3 x 2.6 cm)
  • 18,00€ BAR (no card payment possible)

Eligible applicants are

  • Students who are studying full-time at Landshut University of Applied Sciences with a minimum stay of 6 months
  • Students on leave of absence with a certificate of enrolment
  • Doctoral students with a certificate of enrolment
