"Network Scholarships" launches offers from September

Recently, the liaison lecturers and alumni of the four sponsoring organizations around Landshut University of Applied Sciences met for the first time. The aim of the exchange over lunch was to find out what the "Scholarship Network" can offer to inspire more students to apply for scholarships.

Starting in the winter semester, coaching will be offered in the form of a workshop. Here, students who have applied for a scholarship can get tips and assistance on all aspects of the selection interview. Simulated interview situations are also planned.

Another offer will be one excursion per semester, which will have a cultural, social or technical background. Together with the university's trusted lecturers, alumni and scholarship holders, they will go out into the surrounding area.

Prof. Dr. Silvia Dollinger, Vice President Studies and Teaching, is pleased that the topic of scholarships will now have an even more prominent place here at the university. She shared that she considers it particularly important that there is a new scholarship office at Landshut University of Applied Sciences, "Of course, we now want to be able to implement even more activities to inform and advertise these study support opportunities - closely coordinated with our partner, the Studentenwerk Niederbayern-Oberpfalz. "Precisely because students are not spared additional financial burdens at these times, it is our responsibility as a university to provide support and advice. After all, students' general conditions often have a decisive influence on the progress and success of their studies," explained the Vice President for Studies and Teaching. It is important to her that this first brainstorming was only the prelude and that the ideas already resulting from it must already be tackled promptly, so Dollinger.

Viola Gerleigner from the ZBK is available for further interested students who would like to finance their studies with a scholarship and need more information.
