The up to 25 members, who are particularly committed to the concerns of Landshut University of Applied Sciences, are appointed by the University Senate on the recommendation of the President. Their term of office lasts 5 years or - in the case of office holders and functionaries - until they retire from their respective office or function. Rainer Haselbeck, District President of the Government of Lower Bavaria, was elected Chairman by the members of the Board of Trustees.
