Senate

The duties of the Senate include, among other things, enacting legislation and deciding on matters of fundamental importance for research and the promotion of young academics and artists and for the fulfilment of the gender equality mandate.

The Senate is the university's academic supervisory body and has eleven members. It is made up of representatives of the full-time university lecturers, academic staff / doctoral students, academic support staff and students as well as the Women's Representative of Landshut University of Applied Sciences.

The Senate elects from among its voting members a person to chair the Senate, who convenes and chairs the meetings of the Senate, as well as a deputy chairperson.

The elected members of the Senate are also members of the University Council.
