Senate
The Senate holds one of the most important positions at Landshut University of Applied Sciences.
The student senators are the direct link between the students and the most important decision-makers at the university: the president, the vice-presidents, the chancellor, the deans, the faculties, the external members of the university council and many other members of Landshut University of Applied Sciences.
The Senate decides, for example, on
- the General Study and Examination Regulations (APO)
- the study and examination regulations for each degree programme (SPO)
- the appointment procedures for future professors
- the university's basic regulations
The members of the Senate, together with the external representatives, form the University Council. The University Council decides, for example, on new degree programmes, important matters relating to the university and the election of the president.
