Pre-courses at Landshut University of Applied Sciences

The Friends of Landshut University of Applied Sciences and the university are offering bridge courses in maths, physics and electrical engineering before the start of the winter semester.

The dates are as follows:

Mathematics from 09 - 13.9.24

Mon - Thurs: 08:45 - 15:15 (7 units each)
Friday: 08:45 - 12:00 (4 units)

Physics from 16 - 19.9.24

08:45 - 16:00 (8 units each)

Electrical engineering from 23-24.9.24

Monday: 08:45 - 16:00 (8 units)
Tuesday: 08:45 - 12:00 (4 units)

The Faculty of Business Administration offers its students a free bridge course that is specially tailored to the topics of business mathematics. This takes place during the first semester (during the semester). You will receive further information on registration from the Faculty of Business Administrationas part of the introductory events. If you have any questions, please contact the Faculty of Business Administration (secretary's office).

External preparation options and links

For all those who are aiming for the Fachhochschulreife in the fields of economics, social affairs or technology or would like to refresh their knowledge in certain subjects, the Telekolleg II Bayern offers various options. The prerequisite is a secondary school leaving certificate and at least two years of completed vocational training or at least four years of professional experience.

Full-time or part-time courses at the Munich Adult Education Centre in specialised cooperation with the Munich University of Applied Sciences.

The Bavarian Virtual University (vhb) offersonline courses from Bavarian colleges and universities for all interested parties.

Free online maths bridge course (OMB+)

Bridging course for an engineering, economics, science or computer science degree programme. Flexibility in terms of time and location thanks to online learning. Tutors in the call centre provide support and are also available at weekends.

Serlo - The free learning platform offers 930 articles, 20 courses, 105 videos and 5000 exercises with sample solutions for school and university maths at.

The Mint online pre-courses are used to prepare and test subject-specific knowledge in maths, computer science, physics and chemistry. The courses include self-assessment tests, extensive learning material as well as numerous learning videos and interactive tasks.
