Technology centers
Technology centers are central university facilities located outside the university campus and with specific machinery and equipment for a particular focus. Professors and other members of the university are active here in a wide range of research projects. In addition, they are managing a network of interested companies and offering a variety of knowledge and technology transfer events.


TZ Energy
The Energy Technology Center (TZ Energy) in Ruhstorf an der Rott is a research facility of Landshut University of Applied Sciences near the German-Austrian border. Many core topics of the energy research focus are bundled here. Landshut University of Applied Sciences is developing the TZ Energy into a competence center for energy storage.

The Production and Logistics Systems Technology Center (TZ PULS) was launched in Dingolfing in April 2016. The town of Dingolfing constructed a building to the specifications of Landshut University of Applied Sciences for 11.5 million euros, which houses offices for more than 25 university members and lecture halls as well as a model factory with over 900 square metres in size. In this model factory, various factory suppliers have provided state-of-the-art machinery and equipment worth 1 million euros.
