Expertise for energy
The Energy Technology Centre at Landshut University of Applied Sciences focuses on energy storage, intelligent energy networks, energy efficiency and energy systems.
Research and teaching on energy topics is carried out in several research groups - in co-operation with the Deggendorf Institute of Technology.
About usResearch
Our research centres on CO2-friendly energy storage - on the one hand in the form of inexpensive and safe batteries, and on the other as technologies for storing large amounts of energy in the medium and long term.
We are also looking at how energy can be generated sustainably and at market prices - and how energy grids can be made more intelligent in the future. We are focussing on the optimal use of energy in industry and in municipalities.
