Medical technology
The activities and projects in the Medical Technology research area focus on the following topics:
- Interdisciplinary research with researchers from 4 faculties (Electrical Engineering & Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering and Interdisciplinary Studies)
- Research-based learning through the integration of student projects in 6 different degree programmes (Bc. Biomedical Engineering, Bc. & Ma. Computer Science, Ma. Electrical Engineering, Bc. Engineering Psychology, Ma. Applied Research in Engineering Sciences)
- Knowledge transfer through events and publications
Medical technology network
The medical technology network emerged from a funding project in 2012 and comprises industrial and medical partners in the region. Activities in research and teaching are continuously expanding the network. Our network members benefit from knowledge transfer through regular events such as the medical technology poster symposium and contact with our young talent from various degree programmes such as biomedical engineering, computer science and electrical engineering.
