Practical requirements:

Only for all Bachelor's degree programmes in the Faculty of Mechanical and Civil Engineering do you need a six-week continuous full-time pre-study internship.

General information on the practical requirements:

  • Professionally qualified applicants do not require any additional pre-study work experience if their previous work experience is relevant to the degree programme.
  • Confirmation of the pre-study work placement can be submitted by 30 September.
  • You choose the company in which you complete the pre-study work placement yourself
  • Proof of the pre-study work placement is provided in the form of a confirmation from the work placement company.
  • A completed pre-study work placement does not have an "expiry date", i.e. it does not have to be completed immediately before the start of the degree programme.
