Description: With the IoT Innovation Lab, we want to prepare students for the development and use of IoT technologies. We deliberately consider a variety of different domains, such as Smart City, Smart Agriculture, eHealth, Smart Water, Smart Energy and Smart Building. The aim is for students to acquire the skills that are becoming increasingly important for the professional and start-up world in relation to Industry 4.0, in particular

  • understand what IoT is
  • Assess the benefits, potential and risks of IoT
  • gain practical experience in agile software development for IoT
  • Test solution ideas and develop agile proof-of-concepts
  • Independently develop, experimentally test and apply security concepts for IoT
