The development process in the areas of vehicle construction (cars, buses and commercial vehicles) and work machinery (construction, agricultural and forestry machinery) is characterised by ever shorter development cycles and constantly increasing cost and quality requirements. The main technical challenges are the development of new functions and concepts, taking into account their sustainability.

Prospects after graduation
The knowledge, skills and competences acquired in the technical field and in the area of project management, including supplier management, qualify students to work as a technical specialist or as a manager, especially in the field of research and development of vehicles and machinery, or for a doctorate.
