Psychological counselling

The psychological counselling service is open to concerns big and small. It provides expert and confidential support in difficult life situations.

The starting point is your personal life situation in order to work out possible solutions and (re)discover your own strengths in a counselling session. Counselling is subject to therapeutic confidentiality and is free of charge. Your concerns will be treated confidentially and anonymously.

Living

In addition to the public halls of residence run by the Studentenwerk Niederbayern/Oberpfalz, there are also six privately run halls of residence. Advice on discrimination and (sexualised) violence

If you are affected by discrimination and/or (sexualised) violence at Landshut University of Applied Sciences, you can report the incident quickly and easily at any time using our digital form. After examining the case, you will be informed about the legal and extra-legal options for action and protection, if desired during a personal counselling appointment.

Your details will only be passed on to the university-wide representative for protection against discrimination and (sexualised) violence (Prof. Dr. Sara Siakala) and will be treated with absolute confidentiality.
