Master
The generalistic Master's degree programme Global Management provides students with the entrepreneurial knowledge and skills they need to take on management positions in internationally active companies in a globalized environment. It also focuses on project management skills, methodological competence and the ability to independently apply sophisticated scientific methods. The degree programme consists of a combination of online and face-to-face phases in English. The German as a foreign language modules are compulsory. Students whose native language is German or whose German level is C 1 or C 2 choose another foreign language.

Programme content
In terms of content, the degree programme emphasises a solid academic foundation. This includes the modules Scientific Writing, Business Research Methods and Master's thesis with colloquium. The central aim of the degree programme is to teach students in-depth specialist knowledge and skills in business administration and management as well as language skills in English - through the course and examination language - and in German or another foreign language (see requirements profile). The degree programme thus imparts the entrepreneurial knowledge and skills needed to take on management positions in internationally active companies in a globalised environment.
Study programme
The courses and examinations in the first semester are offered online and/or hybrid (online and face-to-face) and cover German, European and intercultural aspects as well as in-depth business knowledge.
The second semester focuses on international and global aspects of management, strategy and project management. Language skills are acquired in the first and second semesters: German as a foreign language or a second foreign language in addition to English, which is already required at level C 1 at the beginning of the degree programme.
The courses and examinations of the second and third semesters are offered exclusively in presence at Landshut University of Applied Sciences.
The second and/or third semester and usually also the fourth semester with the preparation of the Master's thesis are suitable for a stay abroad.
Modules
The first semester includes these modules: Scientific Writing, Advanced Topics in Business Administration, Customer Relationship Management, Intercultural Management - focus on EU and Germany, European and German Business Environment. Language skills are acquired in the first and second semesters: German as a foreign language or a second foreign language in addition to English, which is already required at level C 1 at the beginning of the degree programme.
The courses and examinations of the second and third semesters are offered exclusively in presence at Landshut University of Applied Sciences and include modules such as International Accounting and Management Control, International Financial Management, Global Operations Management, International Business Environment Strategy, Agile and Hybrid Project Management in international Environment, Managerial Decision Making and Problem Solving, Global Corporate Communication & Media, Innovation Management, Global Leadership in international Organisation, Geoeconomics and Sustainable Global Management.
Alternatively, the second and/or third semester can be completed at a partner university abroad.
The fourth semester is intended for the completion of the Master's thesis and the Master's colloquium and can be completed either at Landshut University of Applied Sciences and/or at a university abroad with or without company cooperation. The Business Research Methods module is also included.
