Profiling: Construction machinery
Excavators, tractors, agricultural machinery, forestry equipment, ... - who wasn't fascinated by these large, mobile machines as a child and dreamed of driving such a monster? How much more exciting it is to be involved in the design, development and testing of such machines! These machines have long since developed into high-tech devices that utilise expert knowledge from a wide range of engineering disciplines.
Landshut University of Applied Sciences is one of the few universities in Germany to offer you the opportunity to qualify for this interesting field of automotive engineering by specialising in "Construction Machinery". Based on a general basic knowledge of commercial vehicles, you will be taught the specific content of construction machinery - supplemented by knowledge of the combustion engine as the still dominant drive technology and the potential for alternative drives. In all of this, a high level of practical relevance is not neglected through internships and you will have the opportunity to establish intensive contact with regional industry through excursions etc. even before you graduate. This means you will be ideally equipped for the demands of the labour market.
