Profiling: Motorsport and Two-Wheeler Technology
Motorsport and two-wheeler technology as a profiling direction? At first glance, this is unusual, partly because these two areas are almost negligible compared to the turnover and number of jobs in the rest of the vehicle industry. However, they represent two of the most emotional - and for some perhaps the most "unreasonable" - areas of vehicle technology. However, if you consider that there are countless examples where motorsport was the testing ground for the technology of tomorrow, that the links between two-wheelers and motorsport are traditionally close and that the current mobility revolution is creating completely new trends - not least in the two-wheeler sector - then such a profiling direction seems almost compelling.
The "Motorsport and Two-Wheeler Technology" specialisation provides you with broad-based, detailed knowledge from the fields of automotive engineering and two-wheeler technology. In addition, you will acquire extensive expert knowledge in the fields of chassis and driving dynamics, measurement data acquisition and analysis, as well as driving dynamics simulation of two-wheelers and automobiles, which will make you an expert in these fields, not only in the field of motorsport and two-wheelers. This means that when you enter the labour market, you are not limited to motorsport and two-wheeler technology, but are ideally qualified for many different tasks.
