Production and Logistics Laboratory

Students use the lab, for example, in the Operations & Supply Chain Management competence module, in the Digital Marketing module or as part of a practical reflection course.

These simulation games are available for this purpose:

  • Workshop production vs. flow production
  • Forklift transport vs. tugger train transport (tugger train planning)
  • Material flow-orientated factory planning
  • Pull vs. push control (based on KANBAN), SCM planning game (Beergame)
  • Order and capacity planning (planning board) and TOPSIM Logistics (company simulation)

The laboratory also has portable 3D printers, which are used for the "Creating & Prototyping" module as part of the Bachelor's degree course in Digitalisation & Business Creation.
