Youth Welfare Day 2024

The 4th Youth Welfare Day will look back on 15 years of the Bachelor's degree programme "Social Work in Child and Youth Welfare". With representatives from all levels, we also want to focus on the future of this field of work.

Thursday, 14 November 2024
from 9:30 a.m.
Room: G007

Panorama of children and young people during their school years

Since 2008, graduates of the degree programme at Landshut University of Applied Sciences have been prepared for rights-based practice. Alumni of the programme will present examples of good practice for the implementation of the Children and Youth Rights Strengthening Act (KJSG), which comes into force in 2021: including protection concepts, participation, self-representation, umFs, care leavers, developmentally appropriate information. Together, we want to work out how future social challenges can be better anchored in the curriculum of the degree programme.
