Question time for IT problems

Module enrolment ... TOTP token ... HAW mails ... Software ... Printing ... Phishing mails

Many questions arise in the first semester and as there is often time pressure until enrolment in all modules and courses has been completed, navigation through the university's various web portals should work as smoothly as possible. For this reason, the IT Helpdesk service at Landshut University of Applied Sciences is offering a Q&A session on 24 September 2024 at 13:00 on all IT-related topics.

In order to cover the biggest points of friction at the beginning of your studies and to give you an overview of which web offers are available to you during your studies, we will present them to you first. This includes the following topics:

  • Logging into the SSO portal and rolling out a TOTP token
  • Module enrolment
  • VPN
  • Virtual desktop infrastructure
  • Computer rooms at the university
  • Use of printers/plotters
  • Software offer for members of the university
  • Eduroam
  • FAQ area

Afterwards, questions can be asked as you wish to make it as easy as possible for you to start your studies from the digital side.

The event will take place on 24 September 2024 at 13:00 and is completely digital.

Participation is via Zoom with the following link or QR code.
