We are a dedicated team of lecturers, administrative, technical and academic staff. With a shared mission and close co-operation, we pursue a vision based on the fundamental values of sustainability, innovation and resource conservation. The faculty offers a high-quality degree programme and conducts pioneering research in promising areas.
Our values, our goals. What do we stand for?
In line with our slogan "Shape Y(our) Future", we primarily train and develop engineers who will shape the future fields of tomorrow with their extensive and specific expertise. Teaching sustainability and transformation, as well as further strengthening the fields of energy, mobility and medical technology and ensuring that all degree programmes are geared towards the world of work in five to ten years' time are particularly important to us. In doing so, we focus on
- an interdisciplinary orientation of our degree programmes with links to electrical engineering,
- a high level of practical and application-orientation through projects and internships in our modern laboratories,
- outstanding teaching quality with extensive quality assurance methods,
- optimal study conditions through personalised support for our students and small learning groups, and
- applied research in research and development projects with our partners in industry and at our faculty's own technology centre.
We also want to counteract the shortage of skilled labour by enabling our students to start their careers immediately in challenging fields of activity, getting school pupils interested in technology at an early age and promoting lifelong learning for students.
